Chestnut and Chocolate Terrine recipe

Chestnut and Chocolate Terrine ingredients list:

1 kg Vacuum-packed chestnuts.
125 gm Melted Unsalted Butter.
125 gm Caster Sugar.
200 gm Chopped 80% Coco Chocolate.
1 tablespoon of Water.
1 tablespoon of Brandy.

Instructions for Chestnut and Chocolate Terrine:

Place the chestnuts, melted butter and sugar into a food processor.

Blend until evenly mixed.

Melt the chocolate with the water and brandy (whisky can be used to substitute the brandy).

Mix with the chestnut mixture, and put into an greased 25cm long loaf tin.

Refrigerate overnight.

Turn out and serve in thin slices.

Delicious served with single cream with a couple of tablespoons of freshly made coffee mixed in.
